Idk if you need to hear this, my friend

EN
Idk if you need to hear this, my friend, but I think you're a really special person. Sometimes I think what could happen if you'd stay more? Just a bit more, to not let me romanticise the time together, but to give us a chance to open up. Is there even a right person in a wrong timing? Years pass, I grew more, and I judge my mind for still remembering the way we meet, and criticising it any damn time I hear Phil Collins, I get a déjà vu. I feel the same sea breeze again, and I see the same rainbow splashed into the sunset burning spots, and us sharing a pair of earbuds living the moment. Idk if you need to hear this, my friend, but I think you're a really special person. Sometimes I'd like to think you're the safety net I only can be sure of in this life. We meet in weird circumstances, we depart in even weirder ones. Anytime I need you, there was this unconditional feeling of support. We didn't need to know about each other, and I always had the feeling, I'm enough with you. I fell in love with a May flower, while he've chosen another season. And that was ok for me, I always wanted you to be happy. Even if I couldn't ever accept to be your second choice. And yet, I trust your choice as I'd trust my life running 200km/h. I was calling those trips a "high way". There's always a reason of fulfilling connecting with you. There's always a gratitude to have you as a part of my life, and I can't express how much I care. We meet in weird circumstances, we depart in even weirder ones. The places are weird, and we as the places. Idk if you need to hear this, my friend, but I think you're a really special person. You became a close friend, on a distant level. First, I liked your art, then your music taste and your thirst in precision within the details. The tone, the kindness, humour and judgy chitchats that were going close to infinite. Online sushi "dates" and tempting provocations. Deep conversations and honestly rude feedbacks. Important stuff that we've acted is meaningless, we knew we're opening up, just very cautious, like a door that had a "caution wet floor" sign right in front of it. I'm grateful with you I don't need to pretend I'm something else, I don't need to hide my fckups, I don't need to impose. There were nights you were my emergency contact, there were days I wished I could be better just to not disappoint you. There were moments I wanted to be more, but I was afraid I was in a sharp position in my life, and I couldn't risk to scar you or worse - let you down. More I knew You, more I wanted to protect you from me. Seems following each other advice has an advantageous turnout. My eyes sparkle abd my heart is fulfilled when I see you happy. You still are a close friend, on a distant level, one of the real ones. Thank you! P.S. yes, I want some credit
